Julia Kirkham graduated from Oxford College of Garden Design in 2005 with a Post Graduate in Residential Landscape Architecture. Prior to that Julia studied at the Chelsea Physic Garden completing diplomas in Plants and Plantsmanship, Advanced Plants and Plantsmanship, and Horticulture. Julia then continued her studies under Rosemary Campbell-Preston at The Plant School, studying Trees at Kew and The Savill Gardens and is currently studying Scent and Taste in plants, a new course being run at The Plant School based at Lambeth Palace.
Since graduating, Julia has designed country gardens for clients in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, West Sussex, and formal gardens in Central London, including a roof terrace in Mayfair.
Julia is a very keen Fellow of the RHS and Patron of The Garden Museum, and much of her passion is travelling and visiting gardens at home and abroad, from which she draws constant inspiration.
