At this time of year the birds love to feed on the seed heads of fennel left from from the summer. I have been studying the scent and taste of plants; it gives me great pleasure to make a reviving tea with the seeds from my garden.
Fennel tea, when consumed on a daily basis, helps in improving the overall texture of the skin. It supposedly lessens the effects of acne and makes your skin look youthful. It also relieves bloating and indigestion. You can make your own fennel tea by combining crushed fennel seeds and boiling water. Allow to steep for five minutes.
